Townsend Leadership Program

The Townsend Leadership Program (TLP) is a 12-session experiential leadership development program designed to strengthen leadership effectiveness, relational capacity, self-awareness, and professional growth. The program integrates leadership training, facilitated discussion, experiential activities, and practical application to help participants grow in both the character and competencies needed for effective leadership.

The 12 meeting dates include a program launch picnic, on-campus leadership training days, outdoor excursions, “in the field” application experiences, a relationship development day, and a program wrap-up and integration session. These varied learning environments are intentionally incorporated into TLP to help participants build relationships, apply leadership principles in real-world settings, and translate their learning into their professional and personal leadership.
